Izakayas can be fun!

Last week, we hung out with Ira and his friends at an izakaya (where people go to have drinking parties). We started with about 15 or so people, but then we decided to go to karaoke afterwards (this was around 1am), and people drifted out, and by 5am, we were left with the 7 of us. One of us which was still completely drunk...haha, can you guess which one he is? It was a lot of fun!

Right after karaoke, we decided to go to tsukiji, which is a fresh fish market with lots of good sushi, and the really good sushi is only served until 7am or something. It was perfect timing. We were so pooped though.

I ended up getting back to my apartment before 8am and taking a nap before cake buffet that day at 2pm.....
The cake buffet was at the Hilton Hotel in Shinjuku. It was sooooooooooooooo delicious, and gorgeous-looking, and tummy filling. They had desserts and dimsum, and we ended up eating there for 2 and half hours before going home. I would definitely go there again :)

They had three types of chocolate fountains and lots of other goody dessert: homemade ice cream, tiramisu, fruit cake, pudding, etc, etc.

haha...and I thought there was no way I could get any fatter in Japan with the healthy food they have here.
