somehow, I always end up eating at restaurants where there are lots of old men in suits.
There's a large train station about 20 minute walk from the apt, where there are 2 big malls and lots of food places, so I'll never go hungry. Plus, the supermarket and 7/11 are only a block away.
There's a skateboard park/basketball courts/baseball field also about 15 minute walk, which is really convenient, but I don't own a basketball here (I might buy one though, so I can play). The area that I live in is very school-filled. There are bunches of elem/middle/high schools, so I'll always see a bunch of kids in uniforms.
But other than that, not much else to do around here...except to go into the city of Tokyo, which is about an hour away. But tokyo all boils down to nightlife anyway.

do 7-11's in japan have awesome bian dangs like the ones in taiwan? i'm drooling just thinking about it. ^^ i'm glad you'll never go hungry... there are lots of restaurants near my apartment too... i'm going to get fat(ter). :(
yes, 7-11 has delicious food. except once I had a melon bread from there and I ended up getting food poisoning and missing work for 2 days.
but other than that, the stuff there is good.
